Cyber Security Training for Community Groups

Cyber security is an important issue for all charities and voluntary organisations using IT, because they generally hold sensitive personal data on donors, volunteers or service users.

Rural Action Derbyshire have organised free cyber security training for community groups.

Each event will cover:

  • why cyber security is important
  • how to protect your group online
  • digital marketing
  • online data protection (GDPR)

Groups can choose to book on one of the following events:

  • Thursday 19 September 2019, 9:30am to 12:30pm at Hathersage Memorial Hall
  • Wednesday 9 October 2019, 9:30am to 12:30pm at Stretton Village Hall (Nr Alfreton)
  • Monday 14 October 2019, 9:30am to 12:30pm at Hulland Ward Millennium Hall
