Online Safety Day at Chesterfield Library
Cyber-crime accounts for 33% of all crime recorded nationally and the one crime most people are likely to become victim to.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics show that 99% of people aged 16-44 are recent internet users and over 80% of 65 to 74 year olds are regularly online. So, if you are using the internet, you need to think about how to keep yourself safe online and we are here to help you.
Derbyshire Police and Derbyshire Scamwatch will be at Chesterfield Library on Thursday 14 February 2019 to give free advice about how to protect yourself online and avoid being a victim of online scams and fraud.
To book your free place, speak to a member of library staff.
If you can’t make the event, you can always message the Digital PCSO on Twitter @DigitalPCSO.
