See my ability
See My Ability is an educational resources that explores hate crime and disability.
The short film and supporting lesson notes detail one teenager’s experiences of negative attitudes towards disability.
It has been designed to be used with students aged 10 to 12 years old although it can be delivered to an older age group.
The lesson focuses on the meaning of hate crime as well as the physical and emotional effects it can have on victims. The lesson pack contains details of other organisations that can offer further information and guidance on this topic.
It was developed in partnership with Derbyshire County Council Education Advisory Service, Crown Prosecution Service and Voice UK.
