Drug and alcohol treatment services
We have commissioned drug and alcohol treatment services for people who need support with their own drug and/or alcohol use.
This support comes in many forms, for example, counselling, advice, medication. It is tailored to the needs of the individual person seeking help.
From 1 April 2017, drug and alcohol services for adults in Derbyshire are integrated. These are provided by Derbyshire Recovery Partnership which is a partnership between four organisations - Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, Phoenix Futures, DAAS and Intuitive Thinking Skills.
Referrals can be made by phoning the single point of contact number tel: 0845 3084010 or 01246 206514. Appointments are available across the county, convenient to the person seeking help.
Derbyshire Recovery Partnership offers a mix of high and low intensity levels of support together with a specialist prescribing programme. The service works with all levels of drug and alcohol misuse, as well as supporting people affected by another person's drug use (family, friends and carers). The Derbyshire Recovery Partnership also manages all substance misuse substitute prescribing (primarily for heroin misuse) across Derbyshire.
Detoxification and residential rehabilitation is also available and can be accessed by referral from your key worker.
