Domestic abuse and sexual violence strategy and policy
The Derbyshire Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy is the first under the new joint Derbyshire County and Derby City governance structure, focusing on both domestic abuse, sexual violence and the overlap between the two.
The aim of this strategy is to provide a framework for statutory and voluntary agencies to work together over the next three years.
There is a commitment from all relevant partner agencies to ensure that we continue to review and improve services for all victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence in Derbyshire.
Collaborative working has given us the opportunity to share a wide range of knowledge and experience for best overall effect. Local domestic and sexual abuse action groups (DSAAG) have been established across Derbyshire and Derby City. The role of these groups is to tackle domestic and sexual abuse at a district and city level, feeding directly into the county and city strategic groups.
